East Tennessee State University Cheerleader Kicked Off Squad for Working at Hooters

Tuesday February 7, 2006
An East Tennessee State University cheerleader has said she was kicked off the cheerleading squad because she worked at Hooters. Supposedly, they consider it against their code of conduct for their cheerleaders to be dressed in the orange shorts and skimpy white tee shirts that are required of waitresses at Hooters. In her defense, she's said the basketball team can eat at Hooters, but she can't work there. So, what do you think? Should cheerleaders be held to a strict code of conduct? And if she was kicked off the squad for working at Hooters, is that fair or not?

No that is not right or fair at all!!! A job should not affect someone’s poistion as a cheerleader & hooters isn’t even that bad of a place. It’s popular, has good food & smiling faces…it’s not like it’s a strip club.
