Cheerleading Chain Game Forum Contest
You don’t need to buy anything to enter. You must live in the United States or Canada to play. However, you can’t play if you live in Florida or Quebec or if it’s illegal to play where you live.
1. TO ENTER
To enter the contest online, go to the Entry Form page on The About Cheerleading site and click on the “Cheerleading Contest - Chain Game” link. Follow the instructions on the Web page. If you are under the age of 18, you will be asked to provide your parent’s or legal guardian’s e-mail address so that we can get their permission for you to continue to play. See Cheerleading Chain Game- Forum Contest for how to play.
You play by sending in an entry and by posting to the About Cheerleading forum, see How to Play. We are not responsible for any telephone connection problems, electrical or computer problems, or if you enter your information wrong, or for entries that are stolen, sent to the wrong place, delayed by computer problems, lost, late, damaged, or postage due. All entries become our property. We will not let you know we receive it and we will not return it to you. All entries over the Internet must be received before 11:59 PM Eastern Time on Friday, September 30, 2005. People entering the promotion through the Internet must be using their own e-mail address.
2. SELECTION OF WINNER AND WHO CAN PLAY
The winners will be selected based on the total number of posts made to the About Cheerleading Forum in the time frame of Sunday, August 14, 2005 at 1:30 pm EST to Friday, September 30, 2005 at 11:59 PM EST. The posts will be counted using the Delphi internal counting system. We are not responsible for any discrepancies between the Delphi total and any manually calculated total made from counting actual posts on the board. If there is a difference between any other total and the Delphi total, the Delphi total will be taken as the official count. If you post under more than one name, your posts will not be combined. Different names will be counted as different posts even if it can be proven they are by the same person. There will also be a random drawing for one tee shirt winner from all the entries received. Winners will be required to sign and return legal documents to us within 14 days after we notify you if you have won. If the prize is won by someone under 18, the affidavit will need to be filled out by a parent or legal guardian. If we try to send you the paper work and it gets sent back to us, or if you don’t meet these requirements, you will not receive a prize and another winner will be chosen at random from the rest of the entries. If you, your parents, your children, your husband or wife, sister or brother or their wife or husband works for About.com or any of its subsidiaries, its advertising and promotion agencies, you can not play. Peer Advisory Volunteers are not excluded but can not play using their Advisor ID.
The prizes are a Ribbon Watch valued up to $25US and a Wild Cheerleader Wall Clock valued up to $25US. If you do not use the full money in your prize you will forfeit the remaining funds.
