"Problems on the island"
This year I am the captain of my squad...so I was in charge of our pep rally during the spring. Well the theme was Gilligan's Island so we decided that we would do a little skit and then a dance mix as part if the skit.
The mix consisted of a swing dance, a Janet Jackson dance, and the offspring's song original prankster. After each dance part we would strip into our other clothes that were the next layer down...well after the swing dance I couldn't quite get my top off and our costume for that dance was a sparkly strapless v cut top. As I whipped off the white top (from the swing dance) while all the guys are going nuts...guess what else came off??? My sparkly top came off too!So everyone got a glimpse of the red bra I had on underneath!! I thought I was gonna die!

"No more Bleachers for me"
It was my JV year and I had just arrive to our rival game against the Poteet Pirates. The Freshman game was still going on so I wasn't in a hurry. When I got into the stadium I saw some of my fellow JV cheer buddies already sitting down. I started walking down the stairs and then it's a habit for me to always walk on the bleachers.
Well I started walking on the bleachers with my megaphone in my arms and my backpack on my back. My friend didn't tell me that this one certain bleacher was broke. I stepped on it and fell face first and rolled to the bottom of the stadium. My megaphone flew in the air and my backpack was still on my back but side ways. There were two Poteet cheerleaders sitting out and I knocked them over. I was SOOO EMBARRASSED!! I got up and sat down with the others. I was saying to myself..."Oh My GOD I can't believe what happen." Everyone was coming up to me and was like "Nicole are you alright?" Then to make matters worse I looked over to my right and notice that the whole JV football team was laughing at me. But it's okay cause they are like brothers to me...well some of them (wink wink)! But now that I'm a Varsity Cheerleader I look back and just laugh.

"Pep Rally Slip Up"
OK. It was during a basketball game that this happened. I wasn't paying attention to the game, so after the horn went off, I thought it was half-time. That's when we do our dance routine.
So, I run out and start the routine with a back handspring, back tuck and when I noticed none of the other Cheerleaders were out, I kinda stopped in the middle of it and I fell flat on my butt. It really hurt! Then the basketball players were like what are you doing, it's not even the first quarter yet (something like that). I was like OOPS! It was sooooo embarrassing and everyone was looking at me. Next time I'll ask first!!!

"My Embarrassing Moment on National TV."
I used to cheer for DELTA STATE, it was the 1997 college national championships. I had already won two national championships in previous years. I knew this was my last year to cheer my body could not take the injuries anymore. We had practiced hours upon hours for countless weeks without a break.
The partner stunt competition came first we had two couples place in the top five in the nation. Then came the squad competition, we ended up winning another national championship. I got so excited I ripped my shirt off and was running around like a mad man. The next time this aired on ESPN, I had transferrd to Jacksonville State and was in my fraternity house. I was a sleep in my room and woke up to about 100 girls and guys laughing when they unknowingly seen me running around with no shirt on like amad man on ESPN.
