Fayetteville NC: Cheer Ltd. Inc. has announced the launch of THE EDGE Championship Series this fall. The new championship series will provide a competitive platform for all cheer categories including all-star, school, recreation, and collegiate at six locations across the country.
“High, neon-bright energy and recognition of the ‘It’ factor are just two of the edgy differences that cheerleaders and coaches will enjoy at THE EDGE Championships,” says Gwen Holtsclaw, CEO of Cheer Ltd.
“Providing both spring floor and flat mats will allow all cheerleading teams, regardless of category, to compete at THE EDGE. In addition to standard event awards, one team at every location will be named The Competitive EDGE winner for demonstrating cutting edge uniqueness. At the conclusion of THE EDGE Series in February 2012, one team from the six Competitive EDGE winners will win THE EDGE Award complete with recognition and prizes.
THE EDGE Championships Series locations for the 2011-2012 series are Fort Wayne IN, Asheville NC, Pittsburgh PA, Fayetteville NC, and Wilmington OH. Cheer Ltd. is member of the Varsity Family Plan and all Cheer Ltd. competitions, including THE EDGE Championship Series, are VFP events.
