The USA Cheerleaders - Tryouts

Tryout Information on Becoming a USA Cheerleader

By , About.com Guide

Oct 4 2008

Team background: The USA Cheerleaders are professional cheerleaders that support and perform for the troops locally, nationally, and internationally. We are requested and booked through the USO/AFE organizations. The USA Cheerleaders pass out care packages to troops, attend airports and military bases for homecomings and deployments, and travel around the world to perform at different military bases. The USA Cheerleaders also work within the community at local hospitals, host cheerleading clinics, parades, and telethons.

The USA Cheerleaders began in Maryland and due to popular demand are expanding across the country. We are expanding into Florida because of the heavy military presence there. Our goal as an organization, is to have a team in all 50 states and be the first professional cheerleading team to go nation wide. The USA Cheerleaders are America's cheerleaders!

What they are looking for: The USA Cheerleaders are a professional cheerleading team and we want the "professional cheerleader" look. (Hair down, full make-up, and fit/athletic body.) Dance/cheer experience is preferred but not required. Girls must be 18 and up to tryout. They are also looking for any addition skills that girls may have: gymnastics, singing, speaking another language, etc.
