Presented in an exciting gala on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the JW Marriott Hotel in New Orleans, LA, the 2007 Spirit Industry Awards was attended by more than 100 representatives of cheer and dance camp, competition and affiliate companies. Winners in 18 different awards categories were presented with beautiful crystal megaphone statues and framed certificates. The following is a list of the 2007 Spirit Industry Award recipients.

Best New Product – Affiliate Company

To recognize innovation and creativity in a new product that has changed or enhanced the industry or represents a fresh approach to old idea.

Leadership Award – Affiliate Company

To recognize an individual who has demonstrated outstanding service and leadership to the SITA organization.

Best State Association

To recognize outstanding accomplishments, significant growth, philanthropic programs, scholarship support, professional outreach, and/or creative contributions to the spirit industry by a state coaches association.
Golden State Spirit Association

Best Coaches Conference

To recognize excellence in teaching, diversity and quality of course offerings, adjunct certifications, strength of presenters, social offerings, scope of exhibitors, and opportunity for professional growth at a coaches conference. The winners were:
