Mascot: Deacons
Favorite Cheer:
We like "Go Deacons Go Deacons Go Go Deacons Go" - It's got a good rhythm and gets us hyped. The crowd seems to prefer "Let's go Deacons" though, so we also do that one quite a bit.
Why They Will Win: "Well, this year is over, but we think that team chemistry will be key next year. We've got an experienced and very talented team that will be capable of going far next year."
Advice About Cheering: "Guys: DON'T LET THE GIRL HIT THE GROUND. Hit the weights and be patient. It takes time to learn the proper technique, and don't expect to be doing elite stunts your first day. Girls: When partner stunting, JUMP! Listen to the people on the team with experience. Concentrate when dancing, keeping motions sharp and quick.
For everyone: Work hard, be confident, have fun, and don't be afraid to try new stunts."
