Here are some fairly easy mounts for the Freshman and JV levels. Some of them use up to 10 people, others only use 3 or 4. Good Luck!

INSIDE HITCHES - 10 PEOPLE 3 FLYERS, 5 BASES, 2 BACK SPOTS
Set up: elevator, shoulder sit, elevator.
Have the two flyers in the elevators give their inside foot to the shoulder sit flyer. Easy as that.

OUT SIDE OR INSIDE LIBS - 10 PEOPLE, 3 FLYERS, 5 BASES, 2 BACK SPOTS
Set up: elevator, shoulder sit, elevator.
Once flyers are in elevator and have arms bladed with shoulder sit flyer, just have them pull either inside foot to lib or outside foot to lib. Easy also.

INSIDE HEEL STRETCH OR BABY NC STATE - 10 PEOPLE, 3 FLYERS, 5 BASES, 2 BACK SPOTS Set up:elevator, shoulder sit, elevator
Once flyers are in elevator have them hit inside heal stretch, shoulder sit flyer holds elevator flyers heal stretch. Or Once flyers are in elevators have them lock arms with shoulder sit flyer and lift inside leg to hip level and rest on shoulder sit flyers waist.

TOTEMPOLE - 10 PEOPLE, 3 FLYERS, 5 BASES, 2 BACK SPOTS
Set up: Back row extension, a few steps in front elevator, a few steps in front shoulder sit
Once everyone is up flyers lean forward to rest hands on flyer in front of them's shoulders. Very easy and cute.

SPLIT MOUNTS- 3 0R 4 PEOPLE, 1 FLYER, 2 BASES, BACK SPOT OPTIONAL
Set up: base, flyer, base, if you are using a back spot then she goes behind the flyer
Everyone starts facing forward. The based on the left is holding flyers left hand with her left hand and her right hand is under flyers left arm pit. The base on the right is holding the flyers right hand with her right hand and her left hand is under flyers right arm pit. Back spot is holding around flyers waist. If flyer is doing a right split then bases want to turn to the right as the flyer jumps and splits, if flyer is doing left split then they will turn to the left. The flyer just wants to jump and and do a split in the air, her bases need to pull her arms out and help her jump with hand that is under pit then move that hand to help guide her leg onto their shoulder, back spot just needs to help her jump up high enough to get her legs onto her bases shoulders. Don't let go of outside hands. To dismount bases just bend knees and pop her off the way she came on. Pretty easy too.

STRADDLE MOUNT - 4 PEOPLE, 1 FLYER, 2 BASES, 1 BACK SPOT
Set up: base, flyer, base, back spot is behind the flyer
Flyer needs to start with one leg lifted in front of her to hip level, the base on that side needs to be in a squatted position holding flyers leg, one hand between the ankle and knee other hand between the crotch and knee. Second base needs to be squatting as well and holding other leg the same way but other leg is still on the ground. Back spot needs to have one hand on butt cheek of leg that is lifted and other hand on back of thigh of leg that is on the ground. Flyer has hands on shoulders or heads of bases. On count lift flyer up to bases chest level first in almost pike then spread legs, back spot needs to help lift and then transfer both hands to butt. You can extend this if you want, every one just has to press it up to extension level and flyer just needs to stay tight, flyer also should end with arms in high V.

ARABESQUE - 8 PEOPLE, 2 FLYERS, 4 BASES, 2 BACK SPOTS
Set up:elevator, elevator Elevators should be facing eachother.
Once flyers are up in elevators the should put arms out in front of them so they are touching and then hit the arabesque that is open to the crowd (the leg that is up is the leg that is closest to the crowd)

OUTSIDE HITCHES - 8 PEOPLE, 2 FLYERS, 4 BASES, 2 BACK SPOTS
Set up: elevator, elevator Elevators are facing front. Set up elevators close to one another.
Once flyers are in elevators outside base takes a step out so that they are facing front, while they are stepping out they need to extend the foot they have to extension level. Easy? Yes!

TORCH- 10 PEOPLE, 3 FLYERS, 8 BASES, 2 BACK SPOTS
Set up: elevator, shoulder sit, elevator Shoulder sit is facing front, elevators are facing shoulder sit.
Once flyers are in elevators they need to give their foot that is closest to the front to the shoulder sit flyer and then turn their torsos to the front and hit high Vs.

SCORPION- 10 PEOPLE, 3 FLYERS, 2 TRADITIONAL BASES, 1 TRADITIONAL BACK, 4 BASE EXTRAS
Set up: back row base extra, base extra, front row flyer in front of base extra from back row, base extra, elevator group, base extra, flyer in front of base extra from back row
The middle is an elevator, once they are up the two side flyers need to have their hands on the shoulders of the elevator bases and their leg that is closest to the back lifted behind them. The base extras that are behind them need to be squatting and have one hand between the flyers ankle and knee and the other hand between the flyers crotch and knee. The base extras that are between the elevator and the flyer need to be squatting and be facing the flyer and holding the flyers waist. On the count outside flyers want to jump and base extras want to stand and lift their flyer. Flyers need to drive themselves up and over the shoulders of the elevator bases, it's very important for flyers to keep arms locked out. Outside flyers want to give front foot to elevator flyer, so that means outside flyers will have their leg that is closest to the front bent up behind them with the elevator flyer holding that foot up for them. Once you get good at doing it middle and then outside you can do it all at once. Fairly easy and looks neat for the crowd.

PIVOTS- 7 OR MORE PEOPLE, 1 FLYER, 2 BACK SPOTS, THE REST BASES
Set up: back row is just a back spot behind the flyer, the second row is base, flyer, base, base, base, the front row is just a back spot between the second and third bases.
Ok this one's a little bit tricky. All the bases except the very first one need to be facing the very first one but they need to be spaced out. You want to set up a regular elevator once she is up there she needs to transfer all of her weight to the base that has her back to the rest of the bases. Then that base wants to step back with one foot and pivot around to face the base that is behind her, flyer just needs to stay tight and the back need to follow the flyer, third base needs to step in and take foot that is not being held. The base should pivot so the flyer ends up facing her original back, the second back needs to step up and take over as back. Once you are stable flyer needs to transfer weight again to the base that just took her foot, this base needs to step back with the opposite foot as the first base did and pivot around to face the base that was behind her, second back needs to follow flyer, next base needs to step in and take flyers free foot. Flyer should end up facing the way she started and her original back should be backing her. You can do this as many times as you want, it looks neat going down a basket ball court and then also both sides of the gym get to see the flyers smiling face.
