Why I want to be a cheerleader.
When I was younger I wanted to be a cheerleader mostly because my babysitter and role model was a cheerleader but not only that, when I went to high school football games or basketball games when I was little there was something unique about the way the cheerleaders acted towards each other they weren't just friends they were cheer sisters and I wanted a relationship with a whole team of girls my age just like that...=)...
Lessons I've learned from cheerleading
Being a cheerleader is more than the cute, short, preppy skirts(even though their a plus). To me when your a cheerleader you need to be exactly what the name says, a leader. when you are a cheerleader you need to set good examples for your peers and represent the school, team, countye, or whatever your cheering for that you are a respectful and a well behaved boy or girl. I cheer because I hve a passion for it and I love how it requires you to be peppy, jumpy, and up spirited it's good to know when your going to practice it's like they're teaching you to be able to put people in a good mood....=)...and I like being able to do that....people are happier with smiles...=)...so if you want to be a cheerleader for the popularity don't because your only truly popular or truly liked by people if you are yourself and if you're doing a sport you don't even like you're not being you....=)...
All that I've learned from cheerleading so far in my life is that if you want to achieve something try hard for it and don't give up not everything is going to come naturally.
Advice
- cheer changed my look at who I wanted as friends and it got me more
- Just be yourself and don't be afraid to make new friends cause it won't take as long as you think...=)...
